1st place for cup cake decor went to Kim Bates and her Sister Heather
Kathy Rackhams 2nd place Frog Prince
Doreen Slaughs 1st place Taste of the Tropics
and Diane Schmidts 2nd place Banana Cup Cakes

We got our Quilts on

using lost and found treasures from the RS Closet

and some that are new, learning the starts of putting a "quilt on"
We also received new instructions for Lois Ann's  "Quick and Easy Quilt" (with out frame)
dimensions - 44"x60"
call Lois Nelson if you need help - 765.0304
1. Buy 1 1/2 yards each top and back - total = 3 yards fabric
Cotton Batting - crib size (like warm and white)

2. Press, Measure - Cut to Match - Layer on table, bed or floor
first bat, then back and top right sides together. pin edges

3. Stitch around 1/2" seam - leaving 8" opening to turn on (salvage edger)
I like to round corners - mark with spoon - trim - clip - turn

4. Smooth flat - pin opening - edge stitch around , if desired
                         and slip/stich

5. Tie with sports or baby yarn - square knots
or tack with decorative stitch or zig zag on machine
    (flower, leaf, hearts)
