Sortomme Family

Philip and Samantha Sortomme recently moved into our ward, Samantha has been at Deaconess in Spokane anticipating the early arrival of her twin babies due to Preeclampsia complications. They did arrive on Tuesday the 14th and are doing surprisingly well, a little boy weighing 6lbs named Titus and a little girl weighing in at 3lbs named Alexis!

The family is in need of anything baby related, even perhaps a crib mattress or a used recliner. If you have any items you would like to contribute please bring to church on Sunday, and if you have any questions please contact President Kathy Rackham @ 765-7762

Ward Mission Goal for September

Give a Book of Mormon to a non-member friend with your testimony inside.

"The Book of Mormon has been at the center of missionary work since the gospel was restored...We use it every day in missionary work. One fact about the Book of Mormon being the key to power in each part of missionary work is this: the Book of Mormon is a testament of Jesus Christ. The title page tells us that..the purpose of the book is to show what great things the Lord has done for His people, to help them know that the covenants the Lord has made with His people are still in force, and to convince all people that Jesus is the Christ."
