Here are just a few items we would like to make sure you are aware of.
The Giving Gardens Project is having a work party on Wednesday, August 17 @ 6:30pm. Bring gloves and a small trowel for weeding if you have it.  If you have not been to the garden before head out to Patton Boulevard on the base, go passed Doolittle Park, take left onto Arlington, then right onto Lowry.  Follow to the end, gardens on the left.

RS Evening Activity - Tuesday, August 23 @ 6:30p at Grape Drive Chapel.  Quilt & Cupcakes!!!! If you have never gotten a chance to learn how to put a quilt together from beginning to end, here is your opportunity to learn.  We will show you how you to produce a quilt even if you don't have a quilting frame.  For those of you quilting experts, we need you too!  We will be tieing five quilts on this evening and need your skills to help us teach the others. AND for your sweet tooth we are also having a cupcake contest.  We will be judging cupcakes for the best tasting and best decorated.  Please bring six cupcakes.

We had a great turn out of nearly 40 sisters! The weather was beautiful, the food was yummy and the company was fantastic!

Habitat for Humanity's Living Gardens

Our 2nd ward sisters along with 4th and 5th wards and Elder Terry & Elder Molemi were able to serve at the "Living Gardens" which included weeding, harvesting, watering, etc. Those who were involved included, Cheri Ward, Kathy Rackham, Diane Schmidt, Jill Lybbert, Michelle Carvelho along with Sally Voight and Don Key and a few others. Majority of the produce grown, goes to the local food bank!
