Community Service Opportunity - Hygiene Kits

We are accepting donations for hygiene kits through the month of September. All items must be small enough to fit in a quart size Ziploc bag. We need: shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant. Our goal is 100 kits.

Ward Mission Goal for the Month of August

Love Our Neighbor As Ourselves

When asked to name  the greatest commandment, He [Jesus Christ] did not hesitate. 'Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind,' He said, 'This is the first and great commandment' (Matthew 22:37, 38). Coupled with the second great commandment - to love our neighbor as ourselves (see Matthew 22:39)-we have a compass that provides direction not only for our lives but also for the Lord's Church on both sides of the veil."

Dieter F. Uchtdorf, "The Love of God, "Ensign, Nov. 2009, 21
